Dr. Chhalamayi Reddy has an innate passion for innovation in education. Exploring and Enriching the practices of learning and actively engaging academicians, teachers and children in the process of self discovery are the two major areas around which her work revolves.
She was a student of Sri Aurobindo International Center of Education, Puducherry until 1977. She graduated from Ohio University, USA in 1984. She received her Ph.D. in 1991 from the Department of English, Pondicherry University, where she completed her thesis on Sri Aurobindo’s critique of poetry based on his ‘The Future Poetry’.
She has Thirty years of experience as Principal of Sri Aurobindo International School, (ICSE/ISC) comprising of 1350 students, and over 150 faculty and support staff.
Osmania University, Hyderabad
Prof. Tirupati Rao is known for his simplicity and leadership acumen qualities. He strongly believes in collective responsibility in preparing the young generation for life beyond their education.
The quality initiatives pronounced during his tenure as a Vice-chancellor of Osmania University, enabled the maximum number of Departments were identified for UGC-SAP and DST-FIST funding, two of the constituent Colleges conferred with Colleges with Potential for Excellence by the UGC and Two Campus Colleges identified for TEQIP – II by the MHRD.
His personal achievements include guiding 29 candidates for M.Phil and Ph.D degrees, attended/chaired seminars and conferences at both National and international platforms, Coordinated and headed research driven special assistance programs such as the UGC sponsored CAS- Program, Phase-I, which was one of the first program in the country in the discipline of political science, Technical resource person for IGNOU, BRAOU, ICSSR, SCERT-AP, Dr. MCR HRD, many NGO’s and various Academic Staff Colleges all over India.
Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth
Prof Geervani has a long period of experience as professor, researcher and administrator at Agricultural university Hyderabad. She has served for a term at Sri Padmavati Mahila university Hyderabad. Having been deeply interested in education, she has been serving as a member of Chinmaya education Cell and guiding the growth and development of Chinmaya vidyalayas.
Being an ardent devotee of Swami Chinmayanandaji and deeply interested in Indian Knowledge system she has been chosen to serve as Pro chancellor of Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeetham ,Ernakulam,Kerala since inception of the university.
