Founder's Message
Indic started with a lot of ideas and aspirations and it gladdens my heart to see those ideas take meaningful shape. What we’ve achieved in our foundational years has only caused those aspirations to soar even higher.
We were amongst the first to introduce Sanskrit as a compulsory subject from Nursery to Grade 8, anchored in a unique pedagogy: Spoken Sanskrit, with no textbooks and no exams! This is a runaway success and a defining hallmark of Indic today.
The biggest feather in Indic’s cap, however, is our course on “Science and Maths behind the Indian Calendar System.” It was first introduced at Indic by Prof. C.K. Raju and only later taken to IIT Mandi. In his book on the subject, he formally acknowledges Indic’s pioneering role. Which other school in India can boast of having started a course that was later adopted by an IIT?
This is just the beginning. We have no interest in being just another conventional school. We are determined to forge our own distinctive path, and our early success only strengthens that resolve.
